Please join your fellow SURE members for a catered picnic and afternoon of fun on Wednesday, September 21. The picnic will be held from noon to 4 pm in the Geri Palmieri Memorial Pavilion 4 (near the West Entrance) of the Monroeville Community Park at 2399 Tilbrook Road, Monroeville PA 15146.
The picnic menu includes pork ribs, mixed chicken, hot and sweet sausage, mac & cheese with bacon and green beans Almondine for a discounted price of only $10 per person. SURE will provide bottled water and various snacks. Food will be served starting at 1:00 pm. Modern restrooms are adjacent to the pavilion.
Dessert will feature frozen vanilla and chocolate custard, a frozen yogurt flavor and 3 toppings from The Meadows of Monroeville, as well as assorted cookies.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their beverage of choice. However glass bottles and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the park.
Activities will include horseshoes, volleyball and card games. A DJ will be playing music for your listening pleasure. In addition, several door prizes will be awarded.
Please note that attendance is limited to the pavilion capacity of 125 persons but we will maintain a wait list if that number is exceeded. SURE members may also register one paying guest (for each spouse if both are registering separately).
Registration will close at midnight on September 13.
